School Project 5: Hiiri
A top down adventure game with Zelda inspired mechanics and style.
Developed in school engine TGA2D.
We really tried to bring the atmosphere to life in this project, adding dialogue and voice lines to friendly NPCs.
I worked on the animation system, using spritesheets and Json to great extent.
Apart from that my focus was primarily gameplay. handling player interaction with different objects.
Handling opening chests, the functionality for different items such as potions, keys and the ranged weapon for the player.
My biggest contribution was probably the enemies, where I implemented 2 out of the 3 enemies in the game.
